Family Home Evening

We had a fun family home evening with the kids the other night. Its was really simple, but the kids loved it. We started by reading them a story from the friend, then we sat in a circle and everyone had to make a crown for the person on their left. When we were finished we took turns placing them on eachothers heads. As we each took our turn we had to say one thing we loved about the person we had made a crown for. Brennan gave an awsome spirtual thought and explained how each of us were heavenly Kings and Queens. The kids thought that was pretty cool. and of course the most looked forward to part, the treat. It was Auntie Miah's turn for treat. So we roasted marshmellows over candle light and made smoores. I love non hair-brain family home evenings.

Matthew especially loved that Lydia had made him a crown, and had told him he was awesome and that she loved to play with him, he kept showing it to every one, and even had to sleep with it.

YUMM!.
