Sunday afternoons

I love Sunday afternoons. We kinda just veg. play games, relax and enjoy each others company. I love watching our kids play together. Happy.

Matthew and Kathryn were playing the bug game together.

Elizabeth, Brennan, and I were playing a game. While all the other kids were also playing games happily for two hours. these are the times I cherish.

My sweet little Kathryn gave this to me on a day when I really needed it. What a sweet heart she is. And what a great reminder when I'm feeling less than I am. Thank you Sweetie. I love you.

Weiner roast.

Another of our favorite things to do together.

Leaves

Our kids wait every year for there to be enough leaves to rake up and play in. This year because of all the wind, there wasn't much, so they gathered all the leaves from the neighbors too. ( which they were so happy to get rid of.) But it was worth the several hours of fun. Once they were done playing on the ground we moved all the leaves to the trampoline and jumped some more. So much joy in small and simple things.
