Shopping night.

I'm sure I've said it before, but I love having sisters to do things with. its much more fun to shop and laugh with someone than by your self. So thanx Rach and Miah for making life a little more fun. Love you.

Ginger bread houses?

This year we used a cake pan in the shape of little houses. So they're not really gingerbread houses, they're cake houses. Sooo much fun. Never seems to get old. And its a good family home evening activity.

Sweet Memories.

This Christmas I got to put a small bit of Grandpa and Grandma Seely's Dickens village that they would normally have up each year around this time. Its so minuscule compared the the memories and the impressive display they would create every year, but I must admit that along with the nativity this village is one of my most favorite decorations that not only holds great childhood magic, but also brings with it a flood of emotions, love, joy, happy memories, and overwhelming gratitude to have known and been a part of my grandparents lives. We all grow old, we all pass on from this life, but the memories and emotions remain with us forever. I love you Grandma and Grandpa. Merry Christmas. ( PS. Sorry its so emotional, and for those who don't know my grandparents, no they have not passed away, just aged passed those childhood memories. We all have. I hope my kids have many joyful memories with their grandparents too.)

She's One!

Our little Abby is sure cute, but she has figured out that the little green stool can be of great assistance in climbing adventures and mischief. The toilet, dinning room table, and up to see out the windows seem to be her recurring favorites. After emptying all the toilet paper on the floor she proceeded to the cabinet, which is where we caught her. doesn't she look super scared or sorry? today I was able to laugh at it. I hope I can take the next incident just as lightly.
