Shopping night.

I'm sure I've said it before, but I love having sisters to do things with. its much more fun to shop and laugh with someone than by your self. So thanx Rach and Miah for making life a little more fun. Love you.

Ginger bread houses?

This year we used a cake pan in the shape of little houses. So they're not really gingerbread houses, they're cake houses. Sooo much fun. Never seems to get old. And its a good family home evening activity.

Sweet Memories.

This Christmas I got to put a small bit of Grandpa and Grandma Seely's Dickens village that they would normally have up each year around this time. Its so minuscule compared the the memories and the impressive display they would create every year, but I must admit that along with the nativity this village is one of my most favorite decorations that not only holds great childhood magic, but also brings with it a flood of emotions, love, joy, happy memories, and overwhelming gratitude to have known and been a part of my grandparents lives. We all grow old, we all pass on from this life, but the memories and emotions remain with us forever. I love you Grandma and Grandpa. Merry Christmas. ( PS. Sorry its so emotional, and for those who don't know my grandparents, no they have not passed away, just aged passed those childhood memories. We all have. I hope my kids have many joyful memories with their grandparents too.)

She's One!

Our little Abby is sure cute, but she has figured out that the little green stool can be of great assistance in climbing adventures and mischief. The toilet, dinning room table, and up to see out the windows seem to be her recurring favorites. After emptying all the toilet paper on the floor she proceeded to the cabinet, which is where we caught her. doesn't she look super scared or sorry? today I was able to laugh at it. I hope I can take the next incident just as lightly.

Sense of humor!

Brennan & Hannah Orr
& all their little butts.
( My hubby's sense of Humor, sometimes I'm not to sure)

The Magic of popcorn

I don't know what it is about popcorn, but I swear its magical. Its brings our family together, quiets them down, and makes everybody happy, especially Abby. My kids always ask for it on a cold day as though it was a comfort food, but then i guess it is for me because it reminds me of home, Mom and Dad and sitting as a family for movie nights. thank goodness for the warmth and simplicity of popcorn.

Joy and Sadness

I find so much joy in having family close by, knowing that my kids know them and are blessed to have them in there lives, but it also makes me sad to think of all the many loved ones that live so far away and don't get to be as much a part of my kids lives. I miss you and thank you for all the efforts you give to keep in touch and to get to know my not so little family. We love you that are way to far away and those that are just rightly close. Auntie Miah And Abigator.

Sisters by birth, best friends by choice.

These too are actually pretty different in personality, but truly could not live without one another. I love that they have each other, and am looking forward to watching them grow together. Sisters by birth, but truly best friends by choice. Lyd's and Ellie. a year and a half apart in age.

Outting.

Lydia got to go on an outing with Aunt Rachel and Ileigh to lunch and out to do some shopping. Lydia had so much fun and came home with many treasures, One of those treasures was a fire belly Newt, (compliments of Rachel) but I have to admit he's kinda cute and the kids were pretty excited, sadly they named him turtle. I know, not a name you'd think to call a newt, but Brennan and I were out voted. So thanx Rach, for the excitement and fun, not only for Lyd's but for all the kids. We love you.

Two of the most beautiful girls.

Heat!

I took Abby out of the tub and she started to shiver, ( it was a cold night) but I couldn't get her to stop shivering. So I put her on the heater to keep warm while I washed the other little ones in the tub. It was pretty cute.

Look closely at her hair, it actually dried like that.

She did stop shivering by the time the heater turned off.

The snow begins!

We woke up to this a few days ago. Its was chilly I'll admit, but the Lord definitely knows beauty. I mean really, it can be forty below when it hurts to breath and your snot freezes in your nose, but you have to admit its still a stunningly beautiful sight. And when its not forty below it can also be a lot of fun.

Just the beging!.

Halloween! Heee, Heeee!.

Abby and Gab got a hold of the popcorn and had a ton of fun throwing and eating.

The super Awesome Seely's all dressed and ready for trick or treating.

Jello full of bugs and eye balls turned out to be a big hit.

MeohMiah trying to stay warm in the burb.

Ewwwwh! The Grave yard caretaker.

Little Mermaid and a Ninja Turtle.

Wicked Witch ( with bad eye sight)!

The smaller of our Mummies, ( Jarom was also a mummy, but I don't have a picture).

A little Frog princess.

And a wee little lady bug

PUMPKINS!

I really is fun to gut and carve a pumpkin. And i love all the "ewwwww's", " its stuck to me", and the giggling. I know its hard to see but Jarom's pumpkin has a smaller pumpkin inside it, he's in prison. They all turned out really awesome. It looks big but it actually sits in my hand.

I keep trying to convince my kids that this experience is super fun, but I think they mostly love the end results, where as I love the gewy part and the smell of pumpkin. good times.

Best buddies

Four of our little ones are in school this year, and I was a little worried how Kathryn and Abby would do together, just the two of them. Its been a couple weeks now and my worries are gone. They are best of friends truly, and Kathryn is such a good big sister. I love the peaceful feeling when you kids get along and are playing so well. I thank my Heavenly father for knowing me and exactly what I needed right now.

Legos with a Little Pink

We had a Happy day on September 11th, because we were blessed with two of our children that day, nine years apart. Our oldest Jarom and our youngest Abigail got to share the same birthday so we had a ninja Lego birthday with a touch of pink. Brennan did all the party planning and to quote Addison it turned out to be "the best birthday ever". Brennan started by drilling the kids on the Evil foe they would have to concur, Goon tau Woo-tei. All the kids listened intently, some with a grin and others in confusion with Brennan's personality and the seriousness of his presentation.

He then had the kids do agility tests (walking across a board 1' of the ground), then presented each with a bow staff (a stick) and taught them how to bow, block, and fight. The kids then went on to further training obstacles such as a webbed tight rope, and trowing stars thought tires.

We then took pictures with each of them showing there ninja moves on the tramp

By this time Brennan was all dressed up in his Goon tau Woo-tei costume and came to challenge the ninja warriors. The kids thought this part was great fun, to beat on uncle snags with their "bow staffs" ( he had a lot of padding on)
even Tim and Ammon had to have a turn, but in the end Goon tau Woo-tei fell and the Ninja warriors concurred all.

My first Baby is TEN. Ten years old. Where did the time go. Happy Birthday my little man. I love you.
