Top of the fun list!.

when we first built the sand box, it was huge. At the top of the list for fun, but like most things as time goes on it becomes old news and less exciting. Until the kids discovered what they could do with wet sand. so for the last few summers it has gone back to the top of the list. There are eight kids in the sand box in these pictures. ranging from 12 to 4 years old. no fighting, screaming, or sadness of any kind for two hours!, with eight kids!, must be some kind of record. I love these moments.

Jayden, Jarom, Jackson, Lydia, Elizabeth, Matthew, Ileigh, Kathryn. Fun!.

One Mans Junk is another Man Treasure! (or a childs)

I did some garage sailing on the weekend and came home with only one thing off my list, a toddler bed and mattress, $35.00, but I did find a few really fun things. two pairs of almost brand new shoes, $2.00 each, two large boxes of brand new children's books, $7.00, and The Car. $10.00. best ten bucks ever spent on a toy. Every one of my kids plays with it. Abby probably the most, but all the kids have really enjoyed it. I love Little Tikes durable toys.

(note: car is not made for 11 and 10 year olds.)

Jarom was tending Edi while I was making dinner. She loves it.

Kids Art Festival

The magic show. Elizabeth was chosen to be a helper. First the magician made the bunnies disappear and reappear in different places, then he gave Elizabeth the Romeo bunny in her left hand, and the  Juliet bunny in the right hand.
then he told her to hold her hand together tight.
then in a panic he asked "oh no, Elizabeth, did I give you Romeo and Juliet?" to which Elizabeth replied "yes". Then the magician still in a panic, "its the wrong time of year!" When Elizabeth opened her hands a whole lot of bunnies popped out. I was pretty hilarious. All the kids loved him. He did a great job.
Some of the kids got to have their faces painted. Ileigh got a butterfly and flowers.
Kael and Addison both had spider man, by two different painters.

Kathryn is big into sun shines right now, so that was what she requested. A sunshine made of hearts. the lady was really surprised. "wow, she's really particular" I had to laugh, only my kids.
Lydia just wanted a weenie teenie butterfly.
Elizabeth wanted a whole face butterfly. They were really cute.

There was also a big fire truck that the kids were aloud to climb in and explore,

All in all the kids had tons of fun with all the crafts, treats, bounce house, magic show, fire truck exploration, face painting and lots lots more. best kids art festival.
